2017-2020 Certification Requirements:

A current USATF Membership Card. The membership can be done online prior to the clinic here.

A mandatory NCSI background check and Safe Sport (usatf.org/officials/ a one- time certification fee of $35. It is good until end of the 2020 Olympiad Years. Everyone must renew for the next Olympiad Years- 2020-2024. You will receive materials needed for re-certification, such as; worksheets, booklets, updates rules, CD or jump drives. A review of background check and safe sports at the all clinics. Method of Payment: Cash or check – payable to Usatfsouthern Association.

Take Safe Sport Training Course, can be done online prior to the clinic or take the training at a clinic. It is a free class.

Attend a clinic/training class.

Complete and submit the form to the right

Take an open book review rules test. Must have a passing score.

EDR Training. Electronics Training. On site testing done by USA Track and Field EMD certified officials, Hands-on activities for only field events. You will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the clinic.
